“The Cristina Show” Celebrates 20 Years as Top Rated Univision Show
LOS ANGELES, June 3 / Cristina is kicking off the 20th Anniversary celebration of her top rated “The Cristina Show” with an exclusive interview in the newest issue of People en Español, on newsstands now.
“Cristina's impact on Hispanic media has been invaluable” says People en Español editor Armando Correa. “We wanted to showcase some of her career highlights and shed some light on what makes her so popular with global audiences.”
In the story titled “Cristina Saralegui: 20 años en la vanguardia”, the magazine pays tribute to Cristina's career as a pioneer in television, her stewardship as the editor of Cosmopolitan, the creation of her own magazine, Cristina la Revista, and her 20 years as the host of her groundbreaking television show. Cristina, who this month celebrates her 25th wedding anniversary, speaks warmly about her husband Marcos, their personal and business relationship and how she balances career with a rich personal life. The story also includes great archival photos as well as never before seen personal photos from childhood to her wedding.
