News From My Laptop Know Cristina My Family Album Up With Life

This elegant man who always smelled of jasmine was my grandfather Francisco Saralegui. When this picture was taken, he was courting my grandmother Amalia (family album).

Here are my grandparents Francisco and Amalia with my aunt Marta (sitting) and my dad Bebo (held). My uncle Jorge had not yet been born (family album).

My mom fell in love with my dad because of the love letters he sent her. Later she found out that he had copied each of them from letters sent by the French Emperor Napoleon to his wife Josephine. Here they are on their wedding day at the church of Santa Rosa, Miramar, Havana (family album).

My baptism was held at Francisco and Amalia's house. From left to right: my grandfather José Santamarina, my great-grandmother Nena Diaz, my other great-grandmother Carmen Iviricu, my grandmother Amalia Alvarez, my grandfather Francisco Saralegui, my mother Cristina Santamarina, Father Ezequiel Iņurrieta, my father Francisco Saralegui, Jr. and my aunt Terina Santamarina (family album).

I sucked my right thumb until it grew longer than my left one. In spite of my mom's disapproval and bantering, I continued to do this until I was about ten (family album).

They threw a big party for me and here I am with my mom. Next to her is my aunt Terina and my cousin Maritere, who has always been like a sister to me (family album).
