When I became Editor-in-Chief of Cosmopolitan's
Spanish-language edition, Helen Gurley-Brown became my mentor.
Here we are together (family album). |

A few days after this interview, Julio Iglesias called me from
Argentina and told me he has left out a small detail from our
talk; he was getting a divorce. I stopped the presses to
include the news. That day, I learned Julio was an honest man
and a good friend (family album). |

For our wedding, Marcos asked Gloria to be our best man because
she was his best friend, and Gloria graciously accepted. From
left to right: Kiki Garcia, Gloria Estefan, Marcos and me,
Emilio Estefan and Titi is behind the cake. Marcos, Kiki,
Emilio and Gloria are the founding members of the Miami Sound
Machine (Adolfo Alvarez). |

This picture is from the first session we did with the band for
Cosmopolitan, and this day also marks the first fight I had
with Marcos, the band member who later became my
husband. |

When I had my daughter Titi, I retired to take care of her, but
Travolta drove me back to work. I had such a crush on this guy
that I must have seen "Saturday Night Fever" about twenty
times! Here's the day I finally interviewed him (family album). |

Marcos would tell me that when we started dating, and he would
spend hours watching me work. (Adolfo Alvarez) |
