News From My Laptop Know Cristina My Family Album Up With Life





As a child I took ballet, piano, and Spanish folk dance lessons, but nowadays I prefer to dance to tropical music, thanks to the other private lessons I received from my nanny, who really knew how to "shake her booty" (family album).
 
That is how I felt the day of my First Holy Communion. Here I am with both my grandmothers (family album)

In Cuban tradition, I celebrated my fifteenth birthday with a party at the Key Biscayne Yacht Club. I had a blast! By then we were back on our feet (family album).

I am with my parents (in the left of this photo). At the center is my grandmother Mamamia, holding my sister Vicky. Next to them is my grandfather Pelusa, my cousin Maritere, and my aunt Terina. Behind them are my uncles Pepito and Julio (family album).

This is the last photo taken of us by my mom before leaving Cuba. Here I am on the patio of our home in Miramar along with Dad and my brother and sisters. Vicky, Patxi, and Maria Eugenia. My little brother, Iñaki was born later in Miami (family album).


That is how we had to rebuild our lives in exile. Here we are on the front lawn of our Key Biscayne home getting ready to go to Sunday Mass (family album).
