Cristina has expanded her Casa Cristina™ collection into tabletop and home décor for Fall 2007. The new collections include dishware, glassware, flatware, candles, picture frames and home accessories all sold exclusively at Kohl’s and kohls.com.
“I’m delighted to introduce new collections that reflect a global Spanish design aesthetic,” says Cristina. “Product has no language. it’s about cool designs that appeal to a wide range of tastes.”
The new Casa Cristina™ collections are full of warm taupes, golds and browns and reflect Cristina’s world view of design. Her line has a Euro-Mediterranean feel that’s “a common denominator of what all our Latin American colonial styles look like,” says Cristina.
The Casa Cristina™ Dishware collection
The Casa Cristina™ Dishware collection includes Oro, beaded dinnerware with light embossing and a translucent glaze; Café, an irregular-rimmed solid-color pattern the shade of café con leche (coffee with milk) and Cacao, which has richly-hued scrollwork designs on square plates and bowls. Each collection is sold as a 16-piece dinnerware set with 4 bonus fruit bowls and retails for $99.99.
The Casa Cristina™ Glassware collection
The Casa Cristina™ Glassware goblets are also called Oro, Café and Cacao and are designed to complement the dishware. Sold in sets of 4, the goblets retail for $29.99.
The Casa Cristina™ Flatware collection
The Casa Cristina™ Flatware collection consists of two patterns, Alhambra and Granada, made of high quality stainless steel which never requiring polishing, these collections reflect Cristina’s Hispanic heritage and her fondness for classic design elements. The Casa Cristina™ Flatware collections come in sets of 40 and will retail for $99.99.
